Dr. Charles C. Wykoff MD, PhD

Dr. Charles C. Wykoff is a board-certified Medical and Surgical Retina Specialist with Retina Consultants of Texas (RCTX). Leading a top international research facility for vitreoretinal diseases, Dr. Wykoff serves as Director of Research at RCTX and Chairman of Research and Clinical Trials, Retina Consultants of America. In addition, he serves as Deputy Chair of Ophthalmology, Blanton Eye Institute, Houston Methodist Hospital and is a member of the NEI Audacious Goals Steering Committee. Dr. Wykoff has been awarded the AAO Secretariat, Achievement and Senior Achievement Awards, as well as the ASRS Young Investigator Award, Honor, Senior Honor, and Presidential Honor Awards.

He is passionate about translational research and clinical trial design and has published over 350 peer-reviewed manuscripts. He serves on multiple scientific and medical advisory boards, safety monitoring committees, and global steering committees for endeavors within retina spanning the innovative process from early to late-stage developments.
