Michael Lauw, MSW

Michael Lauw brings over 25 years of experience in leading clinical product development, medical affairs, and study operations teams. Currently, he serves as Vice President of Development Operations at Surrozen, where he oversees clinical operations, non-clinical development, project management, and all outsourced functions supporting clinical programs. Throughout his career, he has worked across a wide range of therapeutic areas, including gastroenterology, CNS, cardiovascular/hematology, endocrinology, ophthalmology, and rare genetic disorders, applying small/large molecule, gene, and cell therapy approaches. Michael has held significant leadership roles in clinical operations and medical affairs teams, overseeing pivotal programs that resulted in approved treatments for gout, multiple sclerosis, hemophilia, and inflammatory bowel diseases.
